Not only is Bush & Powell the name of powerful men, it’s a cable car stop in San Francisco. The signs comment on the Middle Eastern crisis: “Hyde & Syke”, “Feed the Homeless Rice-a-Roni”, and “catch Bin Laden for a $25,000,000 reward”.
The urban subway captures a multi-cultural moment in time. The train’s signage addresses universal health, reproductive rights and safe-sex issues.
