The State of the World Forum was founded in 1995 by Jim Garrison with Mikhail Gorbachev, who served as the Convening Chairman. The Forum was established to create a global leadership network -- ranging from Heads of State to grass roots organizers, Nobel Laureates to business leaders, policy makers to social activists -- committed to guiding humanity wisely in a global and interdependent world.
Having served as resident artist during their 2000 Forum in New York, and 1999 Forum in San Francisco, I had the valuable opportunity to sketch these important individuals.
